Long thought to be lost to fire, this Factory Competition MGA resurfaced about 5 years ago.  A true barn find, it languished in a dirt floored garage for 40 years. Now at Motorcar Garage for final body repairs and paint in preparation for the 50th anniversary reunion of “MGAs at Sebring”  being held at Sebring, Florida in 2012 . The last of the racing MGAs, this is one of 3 lightweight Deluxe Coupes built specifically for Sebring 1962. Plexiglas rear and side windows along with fiber glass fenders are original to these 3 cars.  With the Twin Cam MGA chassis and brakes, lightening modifications and a highly tuned pushrod MGA XSP engine, these cars were on par with the now discontinued MGA Twin Cams.
